NILOS spacer rings
Type A and type J
When using retaining rings, the design with NILOS spacer rings is recommended for the installation of NILOS RINGS. These are designed for optimum clamping using Seeger L-rings to compensate for axial play. In addition, the NILOS spacer ring guarantees perfect installation when using a retaining ring. The width of the spacer ring prevents the NILOS-RING from jamming in the retaining ring groove and the installation pliers cannot collide with the bevel of the NILOS-RING.
The NILOS spacer ring types are only dependent on the respective shaft or housing diameter.
When ordering, simply state the relevant NILOS-RING abbreviation.
Corresponding Seeger L-rings can be requested from the technical trade.
- Temperature application range under heavy load max. 100 °C
- Material: Zinc die-cast
- can be used for almost all externally and internally sealing NILOS ring types (except series 618, 619 and AK rings)
